Notes

Elizabeth Cary’s The Tragedy of Mariam.

Miguel de Cervantes’ Don Quixote….just saying. odd parallels here.  but all in all, Don takes the cake. Much more exciting to read, and more pertinent, if i do say so myself. don’t get me wrong…a woman stuck in a dead end marriage, with no rights or powers, is awful; but i got all that from the first page…time to move on LIZ. Cervantes gives us a frame story, action, comedy, and drama all in an easy to read 700 pages. summer reading list?
